I had an excellent experience with BMW of Columbia. I worked with David Aviles on my custom-ordered M850i Gran Coupe before he had moved to the West Coast. It was without a doubt the most enjoyable car-buying experience I have had. Although he was no longer there when my car was delivered, the pickup process was very smooth and enjoyable. Mike Liberatore met with me for the pickup and to finalize the deal, and he was incredibly friendly, thorough, and patient. Knowing this was my first BMW, he took the time to walk me through all the features and details of the car, making sure I felt completely comfortable in my new ride before leaving. Shoutout as well to Bryce in the finance department; he was awesome to work with and made that part of the process quick and stress-free. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Highly recommend BMW of Columbia if you’re considering a custom order or just looking for a top-tier experience.
I’ve had a great experience with BMW Service & Tech. I truly enjoyed meeting the technicians who worked on my 750Li during my last three service visits. Even though my usual tech wasn’t assigned this time, the level of service and professionalism remained consistent. He still took the time to come over and check on me, which speaks volumes about the team culture and customer care. Excellent service, attention to detail, and a staff that genuinely values their customers. Highly recommend.
My reviews are rare, so you know they’re honest. I had a fantastic time with the BMW crew in Columbia SC. Usually it’s a nightmare going to any dealership whether that be to buy a car or for service. No one ever knows how much money there’ll end up having to part with!!!! You get that sinking feeling in your stomach when the call comes in with a final quote for a repair. Forgive me, but there remains the trauma of experiences in the past at other dealerships. At BMW Columbia, I was able to breathe; there were no surprises, I had cappuccino, and a genuinely a good time. The offered a rental, called an uber, offered to clean my house, walk my dog, organize my office, give me a massage, take me to dinner—a host of lovely overtures. The cost was accurate, the car was immaculate, the was no stress, the team was far above any expectations one could have. A special shout-out to Jody!! She’s a legend. Thank you to the entire BMW of Columbia team. This was nothing more than an oil change and misc. items. Imagine if I need more serious service? I think I’d be offered a holiday to St. baths. In short, and without the above exaggerations; I really enjoyed the experience and I will buy my next vehicle from them. Please forgive the delayed review. See, I need an assistant!!! My Tech and his trainee were great. They made me feel welcome and kept me informed. There was no other customers being waited on at the desk. My Tech smiled said hello and told me that I would be waited on when my keys got in by the guy moving my car up. A few minutes later my Tech told me come on over he'd take care of me instead. He introduced his trainee and explained BMW of Columbia process. Now the wait was EXTREMELY LONG... I got to my 9am appointment at 845am, I left at a little after 12. I almost needed lunch! Maybe there is a compensation for the amount of time spent on such a prestigious vehicle. I choose, Columbia not wanting to travel to Charlotte NC, although I could've gotten a rental instead there and felt better shopping or what have you. But I can't thank my Tech enough for his compassion and apologies when I brought up the concern.
BMW of Columbia is near an hour and a half from where I live but chose them over the local dealers because of the exceptional experience. From the test drive, the communication after the test drive, the order process and tracking to the delivery of my vehicle, I felt completely informed, in touch and confident in working with a dealership not so local. Even the financing was seamless and quick! Everyone there was friendly and I never felt the pressure you tend to get from dealerships. Worth the extra milage!
