We visited Barker Kia recently, and I must say it was not a great experience. We have dealt with this dealership on a few occasions in the past and received decent (but not memorable) service. But our two most recent exchanges left a lot to be desired. In 2021 we bought a used car, and at this time new cars were very scarce and used car prices were sky high, so salespeople were not highly motivated. The first time we visited the dealership Nick greeted us, he was not friendly and told us basically there was nothing on the lot that was in our price range. We visited a few days later and Richard helped us. He sold us a used vehicle and was very friendly, however the ink was not dry on our paperwork, before he had no interest in helping us. I called with a question a few days after the sale and he was very disinterested to say the least. A few days ago, we visited again and Nick greeted us, again—not super friendly. We found a car we were interested in, but could not come to an agreement on price. We found the same model car at another dealership, that gave us a price over $2000 less than Barker Kia gave us. I contacted Nick just to see if he could get close to the competitors price, and he seemed completely uninterested in having a conversation. The only consistently friendly person there was Mr. James, the finance guy, who we have dealt with on all purchases we have made with them in the past. But I would have to say the sales team leaves a lot to be desired.
