Shopping for a vehicle at Auto Mart Of Henderson in Henderson, North Carolina? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Auto Mart Of Henderson if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Auto Mart Of Henderson if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Auto Mart Of Henderson.
Auto financing is competitive. A little preparation before visiting Auto Mart Of Henderson in Henderson, North Carolina puts you in a stronger position.
Typical Loan Terms
48 to 72 months is most common. Shorter terms cost less in total interest.
Down Payment

Another unsatisfied customer. l too was sold a Lemon(by the owner)and was treated like l never existed and a agitator after the sale. They sold me a car with a Bad #3 cylinder that used excessive amount of oil then the plastic chain guides went bad on a trip. When l called l was put on hold forever(for over a hour) that no one answered, they are Not THAT BIG,even when l went back to ask questions they were distant in nature as if they thought l was going point them out.Someone said that these are so called "Christians",if this is True then all l can say is"The Devil goes to Church"too. No matter what lie comes out of that Dealership Office,it felt Cooold, the Alpha Warranty is also a scam,l had to pay out of pocket $5600.(so that my credit won't go south) for an engine and made a big down payment initially on this Chevrolet (don't ever buy one of these rip-off GM's with the 2.4 engine made of plastic internals, which l wasn't aware of @ the time).Go spend your money elsewhere and drive past them and never stop.Keep away from them and their Warranty Scams. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
My aunt was treated terrible when we got information about her car's motor and was told it was bad gas but the motor was blown and it was a lemon all along we were pass off as our fault so I don't recommend them because of there attitude they have less cars since we brought that
I bought a car on November 6,2023 from automart of henderson nc and had transmission problems the same day I bought it. Someone said when I went back to get it fixed that said they had knew and didn’t tell me about it. I took back to automart to get it fixed and they have me the run around. I had asked for my money back and they said they couldn’t give back to me.I gave them a chance to fix my car multiple times.the last time my car it was in the shop for almost 2 months the they said drive for a week then it should clear out but I end up driving it for 2 weeks to see what if was going to do and it’s still not fixed. They rebuild the transmission and car still has a jerk an a Trimble
Do not trust the salesmen! I am very disappointed in the treatment and contract that was given to my mother. They sold her a lemon. Within 30 days, it broke down. Tried multiple times to fix it (while charging her!) Finally agreed to give her another car that was at-least decent. When she looked at her contract, it was a 30% interest on the loan! $18,000 owed for a 2008 car! She turned the car back in. What makes this worst is the company “values”. It’s suppose to be a Christian facility. This deal didn’t seem like it. Future buyers beware!
Bought a 2002 Chevy Malibu from this place. Check engine like came on within the first week of having the car. They told me that they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Took it to an auto parts place and they told me I needed spark plugs and wires. Got that done. Not even 2 weeks later, I had a brake line busted and had to get that fixed. A month later, the car started overheating. I took the car back to let them go "take a look at it." They "fixed" the problem but ended up having to take it back to them not even 2 weeks later. This time they told me it was the head gasket which cost $1,100. I nicely left it on their lot and got me another car from another dealer. Very much satisfied now! Moral of the story: DO NOT GET A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!
