I will give them zero if I could I applied for financing with interested in a vehicle approximately Christmas time here in 2025 going into the new year of 2026. I’ve been communicating with one particular sales person and then I get emails from others you know the whole deal I sent over links for me to do a trade-in value with the photos and what have you however, time goes by and turns out Some some days or a week I’d go without any communication I sent over our VIN numbers of cars. I was interested in then they’re like well. We can definitely get you approved if we get you in a particular trim level other than what I was looking at, so I agreed because they’ve had a lot of the options that I wanted so I sent over some VIN numbers that I saw that they had in stock and days go by. I hear nothing next thing I know they had run my credit check and these are hard checks because they are showing up as hard inquiries on my credit report. They did this about several weeks ago. My last text message from the sales representative Michael said oh yeah well they want 26,000 down for down payment and I’m like well no thank you I can get a better deal from another dealership and in fact, it would’ve been the trim level. I wanted with a much better price at a different dealership so I then said well thank you thank you I’ll take my business elsewhere so next thing I know the following day I’m seeing hard inquiries on my credit report from the same dealership, Alpine. Buick GMC in Denver to several banks and lenders without my permission when I already discussed the fact that I would go to another dealership, but I’m not interested in because they weren’t interested in enough to even deal with me all this time kept dropping the ball and then you want to throw some big number at me well then I’ll move on. I made a very clear to that sales representative that I was no longer doing business with them here they are running hard inquiries a day after I turned them away. This is absolutely unprofessional and illegal.
