Shopping for a vehicle at Addictive Behavior Motor Works in Salt Lake City, Utah? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Addictive Behavior Motor Works if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Addictive Behavior Motor Works if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Addictive Behavior Motor Works.
Auto financing is competitive. A little preparation before visiting Addictive Behavior Motor Works in Salt Lake City, Utah puts you in a stronger position.
Typical Loan Terms
48 to 72 months is most common. Shorter terms cost less in total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% down reduces your monthly payment and improves your loan terms.
Pro Tip
Get pre-approved by your bank before visiting Addictive Behavior Motor Works — it gives you a rate to compare against dealer financing.

🏍️ Badass motorcycle shop in SLC. The lady at the counter was so nice showing my daughters the various types of bikes. I really enjoyed the random huge artwork pieces all around the walls it really gave this place a chill open space creative atmosphere. The technician working on the motorcycles seemed very knowledgeable and easy to work with too. Definitely would come here if I was in the market for a new bike or needed someone to work on one for me.
I was in an accident in November 2022 and was nervous about getting my bike fixed and how much it would cost. I attempted to do everything by myself buying parts off of Amazon and eBay etc. but unfortunately I came to the conclusion, I’m not as capable as I thought I was so I started googling different bike shops and came across addictive behavior. Brock was there when I walked in asking for help, and he was more then happy to help out. We were able to use mostly all the parts I bought third-party and that was nice. Also, after all my repairs were done, I was able to leave the bike in the shop for approximately four weeks because of all the large winter storms we had I had no capabilities of getting my bike so it was super nice of them to be able to let me do that. In talking with him this is his moms shop support local!!! I will definitely be back to support this shop. They were all super friendly and nice to somebody that’s just getting into motorcycling so thanks again Brock and Addictive Behaviors, Motor Repairs you all are amazing!!
Highly Recommend Addictive Behavior. Brock will always do his best to take care of you. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Been taking my bike there for years sense I’ve found them and won’t look elsewhere. They treat your bike like their own and do very thorough work everytime my bikes been there.
Everyone I worked with at this shop made a frustrating situation with my bike much easier to deal with. Everyone was friendly, professional, and quick to respond. I’ll definitely bring all my repairs to this shop going forward.
I scheduled my Harley for a annual service and some additional service with ease. A quick phone call and all was set. These guys are literally exactly who you want working on your bike. Bike guys talking about bikes, fixing bikes, riding bikes. They know because they are just like me. Serviced the bike, new brakes, adjustments to cables, lubed up and a new set of tires to get me on my way. These guys are phenomenal. Would 100% recommend.
