We researched golf carts looking for the most competitive prices, lithium battery, touch screen and other amenities. Winters Recreation in Sauk Center MN had a great selection and the prices were solid too. We purchased the Denago Nomad XL Plus and I think we'll love it. Eathen took care of us in sales and Georgia did great cashing us out. Highly recommend checking them out.
Good salesmanship. Customer service helped us every time we called. The transaction was processed in a timely manner. We did wait for delivery longer than what we thought but it all worked out well. The driver who delivered also kept in touch on his timeline. We truly appreciated that.
Finding a used golf car can be unnerving. That was not the case with Winters Recreation! From sales to delivery they keep me updated on every step. Upon arrival I was blown away by my cart! If you're looking for an easy buying experience and quality product, look no further than Winters Recreation!
This place is great to deal with. Ethan was a great sales rep. I told him what i was looking for and he even offered me a better deal on another unit than what I had picked out. He took his time and explained everything to me, never rushed or pressured me into anything. Same gos for the finance. He answered all my questions, and took the time to explain everything. I will highly recommend this place to all my friends at camp and hope to bring them more business. Thank you A+
We’ve bought 2 golf carts from Lee now, he’s taken great care of us both times and has been a pleasure to work with. Found a small crack in one of the seat frames in our first cart and they mailed us a replacement no questions asked. Thankful for local companies like this who stand behind their product and service! Been enjoying our new electric cart for a couple seasons now. Video attached.

Shopping for an ATV or side-by-side at Winter's Recreation in Sauk Centre, Minnesota? Use this guide to evaluate any unit.
Match the unit to your terrain
Sport ATVs handle tight trails. Utility ATVs pull loads and work ranches. Side-by-sides carry passengers and gear. Ask Winter's Recreation which models are best suited to your riding terrain and intended use.
Inspect the CV boots and axles
Torn CV boots allow grease to escape and dirt to enter — leading to expensive joint failure. Look for grease slung around the boot area or cracked rubber. This is the most common wear item on ATVs and side-by-sides.
Check the A-arms and ball joints
Grab the wheel at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions and try to rock it — any play suggests worn ball joints or tie-rod ends. These are safety-critical and should be addressed before riding.
Inspect tires and wheel bearings
Off-road tires are expensive. Check for cracking, sidewall damage, and remaining tread. Spin each wheel and listen for rumbling — a sign of worn wheel bearings.
Test all accessories and electronics
Test the winch, plow mount, lighting, and any digital dash features. Electronic throttle bodies and fuel injection systems are harder to diagnose on the lot. Ask Winter's Recreation to demo any accessories included in the sale.
ATV and side-by-side financing is usually straightforward. Here is what to know when shopping at Winter's Recreation in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.
