Gull Boats & RV in Missoula, MT was started in 1941 by Bob Anderson Sr., but back then it was simply called Gull Boats. Bob Sr. started by manufacturing boats, out of an incredible new-fangled material called fiberglass, in his parents' garage, where the Depot Deck is currently located. In those days, it was unheard of to be a landlocked boat manufacturer. Despite this (or because of it), his boats became a huge success. Soon, Gull's dealer network spread all the way to Florida. Word of the quality of his boats was spreading.
