After the 9/11 attacks in late 2001, my wife Amy and I decided to redirect our retirement funds into starting a business. We began buying and restoring vintage bikes and selling them online through our newly created company, National Powersports. As we catered to a customer base that couldn't physically see the bikes they were purchasing, we developed an extremely detailed system of checks, services, and detailing to ensure transparency about the exact condition of each vehicle. This thorough approach became our hallmark and led to an expansion into all types and years of motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, scooters, and watercraft.
