F&S Yamaha started in 1987 by Bob Sell and Terry Frock—hence the name F&S, which stands for Frock & Sell. It began with the purchase of the Yamaha snowmobile franchise from an existing Yamaha dealer that Bob Sell worked for at the time as a technician and from whom Terry had purchased his snowmobiles. With the retirement of the existing owners Bob and Terry, being snowmobile enthusiasts, saw an opportunity.
