Fat Boy's Golf Carts was created by a father-daughter team, Steve Smallwood, and Cindal Bryan, who took a shared passion for carts and turned it into a fun career. In 2004, they started building custom-bodied golf carts, such as the “65 Pony” and the “57 Classic” just for fun. After seeing how much attention their carts were attracting (and getting offers to buy their personal carts), they decided to build a few more to sell.
